The founding idea

Why we only do two cars.

The Porsche Taycan and Audi RS e-tron GT share a platform, a battery architecture, and a set of well-documented failure points. Understanding one deeply means understanding both — recall histories, the service intervals that actually matter, the high-voltage battery health markers worth checking, and what fair market pricing looks like in any given month.

That's a level of depth that's hard to reach when a forecourt is juggling a dozen different platforms. So we chose not to.

How we operate

Diligence, before anything else.

Recall checks on every vehicle

We verify recall status against manufacturer and DVSA records before any car changes hands, in either direction.

Battery health awareness

High-voltage battery condition is checked and disclosed — not glossed over with a generic "runs and drives" line.

Provenance verification

Ownership history, finance status, and documentation are confirmed before a car is offered or an offer is made.

Straight talk, both ways

Sellers get a realistic valuation, not an opening lowball. Buyers get the full picture, not the highlights reel.

Based in the North West

Founder-led, deliberately small.

PurePerformanceEV is founder-led and based in the North West of England. We're building this the right way — one car, one inspection, one honest transaction at a time — rather than chasing volume from day one.
